Nolen Offers Project Solutions
Solutions provided by the Nolen application offer a comprehensive overview of machine operation and processes related to transmission, water treatment, pumping, and wastewater treatment. In addition to collecting data from sensors and measuring devices, our control systems enable remote modification of machine operating parameters through PLC controllers and high-quality automation.
Benefits of Monitoring Machines and Systems
Implementing monitoring systems brings numerous benefits
Monitoring and adjustment of settings – by knowing the actual condition of machines and their operating parameters, it is possible to quickly correct any irregularities by sending a technical team or – if the level of device automation allows – remotely,
Preventing machine downtime and failures – current data on the operation of machines and devices allow for detecting irregularities and reacting before serious failures occur, and consequently, preventing downtime in the operation of individual machines, facilities, and entire water and sewage networks,
Cost optimization – the ability to remotely read and adjust settings, as well as improved effectiveness in predicting device failures, contributes to tangible savings, especially for numerous facilities dispersed over a large area
Nolen’s IT department developed the proprietary MetriGo SCADA system, designed for industrial monitoring. The system enables automatic generation of alerts when predefined machine operating parameters are exceeded. The collected data are available in the system in a clear and readable format, which facilitates their use by both engineers and managers. Data are archived, creating a history that serves as an advanced analyzer and forecasting tool.
Nolen provides support – from concept to implementation – in creating monitoring systems tailored to individual needs. The goal is to provide solutions that fully meet operational requirements.
For years, Nolen has been implementing projects of various sizes in the I (Instrumentation and Control) and IT industries. We offer our clients full professionalism and an individual approach. Our team consists of high-class specialists who are thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the water and wastewater industry. Thanks to our experience, we are able to leverage the potential of commercially available software and hardware.
From Preliminary Design to Acceptance
We possess specialized knowledge that allows us to design and build extensive electrical systems and large industrial automation installations from scratch. By using our services, you can count on complete satisfaction of your design needs. This includes everything from the preliminary phase, through the preparation of the executive design, system construction, installation, and the creation of acceptance documentation and as-built design. The Metria team operates based on sound engineering practices, in accordance with applicable regulations concerning, among others, quality standards and safety standards in various industries, including energy, wastewater treatment (including domestic wastewater treatment plants), petrochemical and chemical industries, and water management.
We provide our clients with expert advice on selecting software solutions, adapting appropriate automation, as well as machines and devices that are integral components of the designed systems. Nolen is a competent and trustworthy partner. See what we can do for you – join our satisfied clients.
For years, Nolen has been offering comprehensive diagnostic services and repair of pumps and pumping units, including service for diesel fuel pumps. We operate an authorized service center and distribute Grundfos brand pumps. We are based in Warsaw, but we provide service throughout Poland. At the client’s request, we can perform disassembly and, after repair, reassembly of the pump. Collection and delivery after overhaul are free of charge.
Precise Diagnostics and Documentation of Pump Repairs
The pump repairs we perform are a process that begins with careful diagnostics, is based on expert assessments, and is carried out using only new, branded spare parts (we do not use substitutes whose quality is difficult to assess, and whose use is therefore very risky).
During the diagnostic stage, we test pumps for the efficiency of their power supply systems and the operating characteristics of the engine itself, determining efficiency (comparison of nominal with actual performance) and the device’s tightness. We conduct diagnostic activities at dedicated test stations.
All pump service activities are meticulously documented: we take photographs and describe the details and actions shown in them. This provides the client with clear confirmation of all work performed and proof of the use of parts and materials specified. Our actions are one hundred percent transparent, which is why we have enjoyed trust and recommendations from clients for years.
Professional Consulting
We offer our clients comprehensive consulting services regarding the selection of a specific pump type, capacity, and model. Our specialists have excellent market knowledge, continuously monitor opinions on pumps from various manufacturers, and familiarize themselves with new products and technologies. In addition to Grundfos, we cooperate with many other renowned manufacturers, including KSB, Hydro Vacuum, Sulzer, Meprozet, and Metalchem. Our experts are at your disposal. We invite you to cooperate with us.
Modern control systems for pumping stations or domestic wastewater treatment plants require adequate protection in the form of durable control cabinets. Their purpose is to provide comprehensive protection for the internal equipment not only against unauthorized interference by third parties but also against the harmful effects of external factors. They also provide easy access to the devices for authorized personnel.
Design of Control Cabinets
The design of control cabinets in our company involves creating an internal architecture that allows for simple yet comprehensive management of the systems contained within and regulation of their operating intensity. This enables us to create spaces that successfully support both large industrial solutions, such as power and control switchgears for pumping stations, control systems for hydrophore sets and WTPs, as well as small systems for domestic pumping stations and biological wastewater treatment plants (treatment plants with a controller).
We implement remote measurement systems based on GPRS packet data transmission. We have completed projects for acquiring measurement data from weather stations, water level sensors, temperature sensors, etc.
We offer a wide range of our own products developed by our engineering departments.
Control Cabinets for Wastewater Pumping Stations:
- Standard System – automation in an IP65 polyester enclosure with a freely programmable controller
- Home System – automation for domestic pumping stations in an IP65 metal enclosure with a hydrostatic bell
- Metrigo System – the latest product from Metria engineers in industrial automation, based on a system for addressing automation components. This solution allows for precise localization of a damaged component.
Control devices for domestic wastewater treatment plants.
Our company’s assortment also includes control devices for the automation of domestic wastewater treatment plants. The main goal of a control system for this type of setup is to increase operational efficiency. The reliable operation of a private treatment plant is of paramount importance for its impact on the natural environment, and consequently, for our health and life. It should also be added that proper management of the treatment plant’s operation also influences the extension of its lifespan.
Advantages of Automating the Operation of Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plants:
- increased durability of the installation,
- increased system efficiency,
- effective prevention of failures through their early
- prediction, which consequently leads to the prevention of
- environmental contamination,
- reduced energy consumption through maximum system operation optimization.
