Pumping stations for treatment plants

A sewage treatment plant can be equipped with a pumping station. Sewage pumping stations are complete tank-pump units, equipped with a system and hydraulic fittings and an operational control system. The purpose of pumping stations is the transport of industrial and municipal sewage, drainage waters and others for longer distances or higher levels (e.g. to another tank). Usually, the contaminants from one or more households flow directly into the pumping station tank from which submersible pumps pump them through an appropriate circuit to the collective well on the sewer main or directly to the sewage treatment plant.

Pumping stations enable sewering structures distant from sewer mains, eliminating the need for digging deep trenches for the systems and facilitating sewering rolling terrains (pump system).
